Shrimp Balls Tomato Soup Recipe

Shrimp balls tomato soup recipe

When it's raining or cold temperature, it's delicious to eat fresh soup and tempting to the tongue. Last weekend, my husband make shrimp balls in tomato soup which are delicious on our tongues. At that time, suddenly I remember one of the popular Vietnamese noodle soups, namely Bún Riêu. I think it's slightly similar to the food.

Shrimp balls tomato soup is similar to processed meatballs but uses shrimp instead of beef.  The broth is even fresher because it is made from tomatoes and gives you a seafood scent.

You only need the following ingredients to make shrimp balls tomato soup!

Ingredients:

Shrimp balls ingredients:
  • 350 gr shrimp
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 4 tbsp tapioca flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 leek, sliced
Soup Ingredients:
  • 6 medium tomatoes
  • 1 liter of water
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/3 tsp mushroom stock
  • 1/2 tsp chicken stock
  • 1/2 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 8 chilies
  • 1 stalk of green onion, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pack of glass noodles, cooked

How to make:

  1. Make shrimp balls by chopping the shrimp until fine and then mixing them with all the ingredients.
  2. Make the soup by sautéing the tomatoes until they smooth and fall apart, then add water to a boil.
  3. Make balls from the dough and then put them in the soup, and let them float.
  4. Add flavorings such as garlic, mushroom broth, and chicken broth, then correct the taste.
  5. Add the chilies and chopped green onions, remove them, and serve with additional glass noodles.
Shrimp balls with a seafood flavor that will spoil your tongue when you taste it.  The blushing red tomato soup looks appetizing even though it's only seen by the eye.

You can create shrimp balls and tomato soup according to your taste.  For those of you who don't like tomatoes, it's okay to reduce the amount.  Let's try it and hope you enjoy it!
